Unit Testing With Visual Studio 2008 Minimize
Unit Testing has been gaining popularity over the past several years as more development teams realize how consistent testing by developers actually helps make life easier for developers. This session will cover a broad scope of unit testing, starting with what it is and how to get started and continuing to where it can go. Of course there will be plenty of tool focused demonstrations showing how to apply the theories easily using the tools built-in to Visual Studio 2008.

Team Development with SQL Server Minimize
Database development has always been a different animal; developers work in shared environments, version control is manual or nonexistent, and releases are via emails or release notes to DBAs. In 2006, Microsoft released a toolset to help make database development more like other types of development. This session will demonstrate how Microsoft’s Visual Studio Team System Database Edition can be used to mature your database development process. It will demonstrate database projects, version control, testing, build and deployment as well as other related tools. It will also demonstrate the ‘power tools’ extensions and discuss the differences between the Visual Studio 2005 and 2008 versions.
